In Monday's non-league game, the host Big Walnut Golden Eagles baseball squad scored a tight 5-0 triumph over the Lexington Minutemen.
With the triumph, Big Walnut moves its record to 16-5 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Bishop Watterson (Columbus, OH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 20. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 14-4.
The Minutemen now possess a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield Senior for a non-league contest on Thursday, May 22. Lexington will confront a Tygers squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH). The Tygers record now stands at 11-16.
