In Monday's non-league bout, the Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL) baseball squad the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL), by a tally of 6-1.
Next up, the Eagles encounter the Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 21. Rantoul will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record. The Purple Raiders enter the bout with a 18-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Normal Community (Normal, IL).
The Railsplitters (13-16) will now prepare for their bout against MacArthur (Decatur, IL). The Generals enter the non-league bout with a 4-20 record. In their last bout, MacArthur edged Urbana (Urbana, IL), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
