Michigan High School Baseball - Utica edges Oxford

The Utica Chieftains baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Oxford Wildcats to 0 in the Chieftains non-league win on Monday.

The Chieftains now own a 15-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fraser for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 21. Utica will play a Ramblers team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Ramblers record now stands at 17-13.

With the defeat, Oxford drops to 19-13 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Romeo (Romeo, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, May 20. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 18-7. Romeo won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Adams (Rochester, MI)
