The Rogers Vikings triumphed over the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains baseball squad by a score of 13-3 in Monday's league battle.

The Vikings (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders enter the Division 2 battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Middletown was overwhelmed by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 5-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Chieftains face the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Wednesday, May 21. Ponaganset will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 3-15 record after their 6-2 league loss to Central (Providence, RI).
