The South Portland Red Riots lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the host Portland Bulldogs to 8 in the Red Riots league triumph on Monday.

The Red Riots now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westbrook for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 22. South Portland will clash with a Blue Blazes squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Gorham (Gorham, ME). The Blue Blazes record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Portland falls to 2-8 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Deering (Portland, ME) to clash with the Rams in a Class A challenge on Wednesday, May 21. The Rams go into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Deering lost 11-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Westbrook (Westbrook, ME)
