The Indian River Braves soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Norview Pilots to 0 in the Braves non-league victory on Monday.
The Braves now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory for a Southeastern bout on Tuesday, May 20. Indian River will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Norview moves to 3-9 on the year. The Pilots travel to Maury (Norfolk, VA) to play the Commodores in a Eastern bout on Wednesday, May 21. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Maury won 5-3 in their recent league bout against Granby (Norfolk, VA)
