The Altoona Railroaders softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Augusta Beavers to 3 in the Railroaders non-league win on Monday.

The Railroaders now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 20. Altoona will encounter a Red Hawks team coming off a 11-10 non-league win over La Crosse Logan (La Crosse, WI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Augusta moves to 14-8 on the season. The Beavers host Whitehall (Whitehall, WI) to encounter the Norse in a Dairyland battle on Tuesday, May 20. The Norse come into the battle with a record of 4-11.
