The Animo Venice Pirates (Los Angeles, CA) softball routed the visiting Los Angeles Leadership Academy Lions (Los Angeles, CA), 12-5 in Monday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 15-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rancho Dominguez for a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 21. Animo Venice will encounter a Lobos team coming off a 23-0 league loss to San Pedro (San Pedro, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Los Angeles Leadership Academy moves to 8-7 on the season.
