Indiana High School Softball - Speedway gets by Ben Davis

May 19, 2025: Speedway, IN 46224

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) and the visiting Ben Davis Giants (Indianapolis, IN), observed Speedway's softball team get by Ben Davis by a tally of 7-6.

The Sparkplugs (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory (Indianapolis, IN). The Braves go into the non-league bout with a 10-11 record. In their last bout, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory was nipped by Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN), 3-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Giants clash with the Lawrence North Wildcats (Indianapolis, IN) in a Metropolitan bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Ben Davis will attempt to advance on its 11-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 10-13 record after their 8-5 non-league loss to Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN).
