Ohio High School Softball - Boardman bounces Jefferson Area

May 19, 2025: Youngstown, OH 44512

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) and the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), observed Boardman's softball squad hold off Jefferson Area by a tally of 7-2.

Next, the Spartans meet the Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 20. Boardman will attempt to advance on its 21-4 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 10-13 record after their 19-6 non-league win over Brush (Lyndhurst, OH).

The Falcons (14-13) will now prepare for their test against Perry (Perry, OH). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 18-8 record. In their last test, Perry was routed by Chardon (Chardon, OH), 1-0, in a non-league test.
