Connecticut High School Softball - Bridgeport Central drops to Norwalk

The Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers softball squad (Bridgeport, CT), was routed 20-1 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT)

With the triumph, Norwalk improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Darien (Darien, CT) to face the Blue Wave in a Fairfield County contest on Tuesday, May 20. The Blue Wave enter the contest with a record of 14-3. Darien won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, CT)

The Hilltoppers now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ludlowe for a Fairfield County contest on Tuesday, May 20. Bridgeport Central will face a Falcons squad coming off a 10-8 league loss to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 7-12.
