The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI) and the visiting Harbor Springs Rams (Harbor Springs, MI), observed Cheboygan's softball team notch a victory over Harbor Springs by a tally of 16-1.

The Chiefs (4-10) will now prepare for their bout against Sault Area (Sault St. Marie, MI). The Blue Devils go into the Straits Area bout with a 3-10 record. In their last bout, Sault Area gained a win over St. Ignace (St. Ignace, MI), 21-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Johannesburg-Lewiston Cardinals (Johannesburg, MI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 21. Harbor Springs will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 23-3 record after their 19-0 league win over Pellston (Pellston, MI).
