The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) and the visiting Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN), observed Eastside's softball team get by Lakeland by a tally of 7-3.

The Blazers (20-4) will now prepare for their bout against Central Noble (Albion, IN). The Cougars go into the Northeast Corner bout with a 16-4 record. In their last bout, Central Noble tipped Columbia City (Columbia City, IN), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Wawasee Warriors (Syracuse, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Lakeland will attempt to advance on its 6-16 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-18 record after their 7-4 league loss to Goshen (Goshen, IN).
