The Kennedy Memorial Mustangs overwhelmed the visiting Rutgers Prep Argonauts softball squad by a count of 16-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, May 20. Kennedy Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 4-16 record after their 13-7 non-league win over Perth Amboy (Perth Amboy, NJ).
The Argonauts (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Perth Amboy Vo-Tech (Perth Amboy, NJ). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Perth Amboy Vo-Tech was routed by Piscataway Vo-Tech (Piscataway, NJ), 19-6, in a non-league challenge.
