In Monday's league test, the Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Memphis Yellowjackets (Memphis, MI), by a tally of 12-1.
Next, the Bearcats meet the Mayville Wildcats (Mayville, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, May 22. Ubly will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record.
The Yellowjackets (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Port Huron (Port Huron, MI). The Red Hawks go into the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Port Huron was routed by Clawson (Clawson, MI), 5-4, in a non-league test.
