In Monday's non-league game, the host Clinton County Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 8-4 victory over the York Institute Dragons.
The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Lakers go into the District 16 game with a 18-4 record. In their last game, Russell County tipped Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 10-9, in a non-league game.
The Dragons (9-14) will now prepare for their game against Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Highlanders go into the non-league game with a 7-13 record. In their last game, Scott tipped Wartburg Central (Wartburg, TN), 8-6, in a non-league game.
