In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Whitman Vikings baseball team scored a tight 13-9 victory over the Damascus Hornets.
The Vikings (12-2) will now prepare for their game against Poolesville (Poolesville, MD). The Falcons go into the non-league game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Poolesville was overwhelmed by Wootton (Rockville, MD), 5-2, in a league game.
The Hornets (8-8) will now prepare for their game against Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Quince Orchard was overwhelmed by Churchill (Potomac, MD), 8-2, in a non-league game.
