The Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) baseball nipped the visiting Northwest Area Rangers (Shickshinny, PA), 6-5 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Hawkeyes encounter the Wyoming Seminary College Prep Blue Knights (Kingston, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 contest, on Wednesday, May 4. Hanover Area will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Blue Knights come into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 3-1 league loss to MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA).

The Rangers now sport a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Millville for a Mid-Penn D4 contest on Wednesday, May 4. Northwest Area will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 17-7 league win over Bucktail (Farwell, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 6-7.
