In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Nonnewaug Chiefs baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Holy Cross Crusaders.
The Chiefs (11-0) will now prepare for their game against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos go into the Berkshire game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Terryville by Wamogo (Litchfield, CT), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Crusaders (7-5) will now prepare for their game against St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT). The Falcons go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper game with a 13-0 record. In their last game, St. Paul Catholic tipped Wolcott (Wolcott, CT), 7-1, in a league game.
