In Monday's non-league game, the host Maret Frogs baseball team scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Landon Bears.
The Frogs (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC). The Quakers go into the Mid-Atlantic-MAC game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Sidwell Friends by Potomac School (McLean, VA), 10-4, in a league game.
The Bears (11-9) will now prepare for their game against Episcopal (Alexandria, VA). The Maroon go into the Interstate Athletic game with a 5-12 record. In their last game, Episcopal by Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
