Marion Local Flyers (Maria Stein, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting National Trail Blazers (New Paris, OH), 5-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Marion Local upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Flyers travel to Parkway (Rockford, OH) to battle the Panthers in a Midwest Athletic test on Tuesday, May 3. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 2-14. Parkway lost 18-2 in their recent league test against Coldwater (Coldwater, OH)

With the defeat, National Trail falls to 3-9 on the season. The Blazers travel to Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH) to battle the Jets in a Western Ohio Athletic test on Tuesday, May 3. The Jets come into the test with a record of 7-7. Franklin Monroe lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH)
