Indiana High School Baseball - Southwood loses to Peru

The Peru Tigers crushed the host Southwood Knights baseball team by a count of 16-4 in Monday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they host Northfield for a Three Rivers bout on Wednesday, May 4. Peru will face a Norsemen team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IN). The Norsemen record now stands at 3-9.

Next, the Knights face the Marion Giants (Marion, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 3. Southwood will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Giants enter the bout with a 0-11 record after their 13-7 league loss to Anderson (Anderson, IN).
