Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the St. John's Prep Johnnies (Collegeville, MN) and the visiting Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN), saw St. John's Prep's baseball squad beat Spectrum by a margin of 7-1.
Coming up next, the Johnnies play the Browerville Tigers (Browerville, MN) in a Prairie battle, on Friday, May 6. St. John's Prep will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
The Sting now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Anoka/Legacy Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, May 3. Spectrum will play a Tornadoes squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Heritage Christian (Karlstad, MN). The Tornadoes record now stands at 5-0.
