The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) and the visiting Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA), saw Moon Area's lacrosse team top Sewickley Academy by a margin of 17-7.

The Tigers (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels enter the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Seton LaSalle was overwhelmed by Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA), 15-1, in a league challenge.

The (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh, PA). The Foxes enter the WPIAL 3A 2 challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Fox Chapel was overwhelmed by Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA), 12-7, in a league challenge.
