The Mt. Zion Braves smashed the visiting Decatur Eisenhower Panthers soccer squad by a margin of 7-0 in Monday's non-league match.
The Braves now sport a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a Apollo match on Tuesday, May 3. Mt. Zion will encounter a Railsplitters squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Railsplitters record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Decatur Eisenhower drops to 3-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to Rochester (Rochester, IL) to encounter the Rockets in a Central State Eight match on Tuesday, May 3. The Rockets come into the match with a record of 11-5. Rochester won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Normal West (Normal, IL)
