Northeastern Knights (Fountain City, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Union City Indians (Union City, IN), 8-3 in a league test.

With the win, Northeastern upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Knights host Connersville (Connersville, IN) to battle the Spartans in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 18. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 1-3.

With the defeat, Union City falls to 0-1 on the season.
