The Black Knights go into the outing with a record of 11-3. Hempfield lost 11-6 in their recent non-league outing against Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA)

With the defeat, Ephrata drops to 2-9 on the season. The Mountaineers host Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA) to battle the Pioneers in a Lancaster-Lebanon outing on Tuesday, May 3. The Pioneers go into the outing with a record of 8-1.
