Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Shelton drops to Xavier

In Monday's league test, the visiting Xavier Falcons lacrosse squad scored a good 17-3 victory over the Shelton Gaels.
The Falcons now have a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cheshire for a Southern Connecticut game on Thursday, May 5. Xavier will encounter a Rams team coming off a 15-13 league win over Hand (Madison, CT). The Rams record now stands at 8-2.
The Gaels (1-9) will now prepare for their game against Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Grizzlies go into the Southern Connecticut game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Guilford was overwhelmed by McMahon (Norwalk, CT), 6-2, in a non-league game.
