Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ) followers exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Vernon Vikings (Vernon, NJ), 14-4 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now have a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Morris Mendham for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 4.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 5. Vernon will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to West Morris Central (Chester, NJ).
