Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Bloomington South Panthers (Bloomington, IN) and the visiting Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN), witnessed Bloomington South's softball squad tip Linton-Stockton by a count of 6-1.

The Panthers now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they host Seymour for a non-league match on Thursday, May 5. Bloomington South will face a Owls squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Owls record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Linton-Stockton moves to 9-4 on the season. The Miners host Shakamak (Jasonville, IN) to face the Lakers in a Southwestern Indiana match on Tuesday, May 3. The Lakers go into the match with a record of 1-12. Shakamak lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Owen Valley (Spencer, IN)
