New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars now sport a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jimtown for a Northern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, May 4. New Prairie will face a Jimmies squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Jimmies record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Bremen falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Penn (Mishawaka, IN) to face the Kingsmen in a Northern Indiana challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Kingsmen enter the challenge with a record of 10-6. Penn won 11-0 in their recent league challenge against Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN)
