Classical Purples (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Times Squared Academy Eagles (Providence, RI), 13-3 in a league challenge.

The Purples now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shea for a Division 3 challenge on Wednesday, May 4. Classical will face a Raiders squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI). The Raiders record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Times Squared Academy falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI) to face the Kilties in a Division 3 challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Kilties enter the challenge with a record of 1-7. Mt. Pleasant lost 22-2 in their recent league challenge against Wheeler (Providence, RI)
