The Clinton Gaels (Clinton, MA) softball nipped the host Gardner Wildcats (Gardner, MA), 6-5 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Gaels (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Oakmont Regional held off Leominster (Leominster, MA), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
