Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) and the visiting Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers (Gardner, IL), witnessed Dwight's softball squad prevail over Gardner-South Wilmington by a count of 10-0.
The Trojans now sport a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Midland for a Tri-County match on Wednesday, May 4.
With the loss, Gardner-South Wilmington moves to 9-13 on the season. The Panthers travel to Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL) to meet the Chargers in a River Valley match on Monday, May 9.
