Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hoffman Estates Hawks (Hoffman Estates, IL), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 10-3 record. They take the field next when they host Fremd for a Mid-Suburban West challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Prospect will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 7-1 league win over Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 14-6.

With the loss, Hoffman Estates falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL) to battle the Bison in a Mid-Suburban East challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 12-3. Buffalo Grove won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against Barrington (Barrington, IL)
