West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 11-9 record. They take the field next when they host Romeoville for a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Wednesday, May 4. West Aurora will face a Spartans squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Joliet Central falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Steelmen travel to Minooka (Minooka, IL) to face the Indians in a Suburban Prairie - South challenge on Wednesday, May 4. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 11-6. Minooka lost 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL)
