Indiana High School Softball - Union County bounces Monroe Central

The Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) softball routed the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 23-4 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Patriots (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Tri (Straughn, IN). The Titans go into the Tri-Eastern bout with a 5-8 record. In their last bout, Tri was routed by Winchester Community (Winchester, IN), 10-6, in a league bout.

The Golden Bears now possess a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hagerstown for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 3. Monroe Central will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 11-3 league win over Tri (Straughn, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-5.
