The Sugar Valley Rural Phoenix softball team (Loganton, PA), was routed 11-1 in Monday's league test with the host Sullivan County Griffins (Laporte, PA)

Coming up next, the Griffins clash with the Columbia Montour Vo-Tech Rams (Bloomsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn D4 test, on Tuesday, May 3. Sullivan County will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 2-8 record after their 16-0 league loss to Muncy (Muncy, PA).

The Phoenix (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Bucktail (Farwell, PA). The Bucks come into the Mid-Penn D4 test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Bucktail was routed by Montgomery (Montgomery, PA), 11-1, in a league test.
