Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI), 6-2 in a league test.

With the win, Cumberland upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Clippers travel to Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to battle the Sentinels in a Division 1 (State) test on Thursday, May 4. The Sentinels come into the test with a record of 4-8. Smithfield lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Central (Providence, RI)

With the defeat, South Kingstown falls to 4-7 on the season. The Rebels host Coventry (Coventry, RI) to battle the Oakers in a Division 1 (State) test on Thursday, May 4. The Oakers come into the test with a record of 4-6. Coventry lost 6-2 in their recent league test against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI)
