Elko Indians (Elko, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Tooele Buffaloes (Tooele, UT), 13-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Elko upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to battle the Vaqueros in a 3A North - East test on Friday, May 5. The Vaqueros come into the test with a record of 7-14. Fernley lost 8-4 in their recent league test against Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV)

With the defeat, Tooele falls to 6-14 on the season. The Buffaloes host Uintah (Vernal, UT) to battle the Utes in a 5A Region 7 test on Monday, May 8. The Utes come into the test with a record of 10-11. Uintah won 7-3 in their recent league test against Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT)
