The Herndon Hornets baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals to 0 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Yorktown (Arlington, VA). The Patriots go into the Liberty match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Yorktown gained a win over Langley (McLean, VA), 5-1, in a league match.
The Generals (2-16) will now prepare for their match against Wakefield (The Plains, VA). The Fighting Owls go into the non-league match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Wakefield gained a win over George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
