The Metro Panthers crushed the host Roosevelt Roughriders baseball team by a count of 17-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crossroads for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 4.
Next, the Roughriders face the Hazelwood East Spartans (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 3. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Spartans enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 17-7 non-league loss to McCluer South-Berkeley (Ferguson, MO).
