New York High School Baseball - Solvay holds off Mexico

May 2, 2023: Solvay, NY 13209

Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Solvay Bearcats (Solvay, NY) and the visiting Mexico Tigers (Mexico, NY), saw Solvay's baseball squad knock off Mexico by a count of 8-4.

Coming up next, the Bearcats play the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights (Syracuse, NY) in a Section 3 Patriot battle, on Thursday, May 4. Solvay will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Gaelic Knights enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 12-0 league win over Jordan-Elbridge (Jordan, NY).

The Tigers now possess a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Phoenix for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 6.
