Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) followers exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 23-2 in a league battle.
The Patriots now have a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Western Albemarle for a Jefferson battle on Friday, May 5. Albemarle will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-0.
In their next game, the Fighting Hornets clash with the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Tuesday, May 9. Orange County will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record.
