In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Vail Mountain Gore Rangers soccer squad scored a close 6-1 triumph over the Basalt Longhorns.
The Gore Rangers (10-0) will now prepare for their battle against Delta (Delta, CO). The Panthers come into the 3A Western Slope battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Delta nudged Moffat County (Craig, CO), 10-0, in a league battle.
The Longhorns (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO). The Titans come into the 3A Western Slope battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Coal Ridge was overwhelmed by Aspen (Aspen, CO), 3-2, in a league battle.
