The Highland Hawks baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting JV Opponent to 8 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Hawks (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Jefferson edged Morgantown (Morgantown, WV), 5-3, in a league match.
The (54-66) will now prepare for their match against Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL). The Rockets go into the match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Tolono Unity was overwhelmed by Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 6-5, in a non-league match.
