Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), 6-4 in a league battle.

The Nighthawks now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pomperaug for a South West battle on Tuesday, May 9. Newtown will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 13-7 league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 10-4.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a South West battle, on Friday, May 5. Joel Barlow will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Rebels come into the battle with a 10-1 record after their 16-0 league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT).
