In Tuesday's non-league contest, the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) lacrosse squad routed the host Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), by a count of 17-3.

Coming up next, the Hawks confront the Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV) in a WVSLA -DI East contest, on Friday, May 5. University will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Mohigans enter the contest with a 13-0 record after their 11-4 league win over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).

The Knights now own a 0-12 record.
