The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the South-Doyle Cherokees (Knoxville, TN) and the visiting Seymour Eagles (Seymour, TN), saw South-Doyle's soccer squad knock off Seymour by a margin of 2-0.
The Cherokees now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a non-league test on Thursday, May 4. South-Doyle will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Farragut (Knoxville, TN). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-15.
With the loss, Seymour drops to 6-7 on the season. The Eagles host Carter (Strawberry Plains, TN) to encounter the Green Hornets in a 2A District 3 test on Monday, May 8. The Green Hornets come into the test with a record of 3-10. Carter won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN)
