The Warriors now own a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they host Taylorville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. Athens will battle a Tornadoes squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 4-18.

With the loss, Olympia falls to 18-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 4. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 8-12. Prairie Central won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL)
